Today I'd like to talk about the liver, and the absolutely crucial role it plays in the detoxification of anything that comes near your body, including vaccines.
In part one of my articles, Toxins in vs Toxins out, I referred to the "total load" that is placed on the body by chemicals and heavy metals which come from multiple sources.
It is important to understand, again, that when the body (particularly the liver) cannot keep up with detox demand, we are left with an overload situation. This is when the body starts to show signs of toxicity.
Think of the liver like a funnel. Only so much can go through at once. Each and every toxin or chemical needs to be broken down sufficiently and then carried via enzymes through their specific detoxification pathways.
There are several different detox pathways, each having specific enzymes to carry specific chemicals and substances. All of the pathways need to be efficient for optimal health, but in particular, I'd like to demonstrate two of these pathways, and how any limitations in these would contribute to the "total load" and toxic buildup that is frequently seen in Autism and vaccine injury.
Glutathione could be described as the "king" of antioxidants in the body. The Glutathione pathway binds substances such as heavy metals (mercury, lead, aluminum, etc), organochlorides (pesticides), paracetamol, penicillin, tetracycline, and substances such as aflatoxin (the mould responsible for peanut allergies), phthalates (a plasticizing agent used in a myriad of products), and ethyl alcohol. These chemicals have to be made more water-soluble by the Glutathione pathway before they are able to be excreted in urine or bile.
The Sulfation pathway eliminates toxins by attaching them to sulfate. This is the principal pathway for eliminating excess neurotransmitters, artificial food colorings, heterocyclic amines, steroid hormones, paracetamol, and toxins from intestinal bacteria. It also removes many forms of environmental toxins. I will also add that non-steroidal drugs such as ibuprofen (Nurofen) inhibit Sulfation.
From the above list you can see that typically, in the Western world, there would be more than one process going on at any given moment. If you consider a child's diet, from the above list it does not even have to be considered a "junk food" diet for these pathways to be working hard.
Typically speaking, if you compare the volumes of toxins inside a vaccine to some of the others on my list, you will see that there is FAR more accumulation of other chemicals from environmental sources backing up my statement that it's probably NOT the vaccine that caused the damage, as opposed to pulling that trigger.
Glyphosphate is one of the most widely used herbicides in the world. It is the number one spray used in the cropping of most grains and produces in the Western world. Today I'd like to focus on just three examples; corn, soy, and wheat.
Because glyphosphate is sprayed onto corn and soy crops, all soft drinks, foods, and lollies are sweetened with high fructose corn syrup (and most of them are sweetened with HCFS these days), and all chips and cereals that contain soy fillers have small amounts of glyphosate in them.
Also, our pastures are sprayed for weeds, (not to mention roadsides and parks), our dairy products, and often meats contain glyphosphates, as do any of our eggs or poultry that might be fed on grain. (In America it is worse, with their cattle and sheep being fed on grain also). In Australia, wheat is often sprayed with Roundup just prior to being harvested, which means that all non-organic bread and wheat products would also be sources of glyphosate toxicity.
The amount of glyphosate in each product may not be large, but the cumulative effect (the more processed foods, the worse it is) could be devastating. It is well documented that glyphosate can cross the placental barrier into a growing fetus, and also pass through breastmilk into a feeding baby.
A recent study from California shows that pregnant women living near farms where pesticides are applied have a 60% increased risk of children having an autism spectrum disorder. Other toxic substances may also be autism-inducing. For the record, there is also a world of proof that the actual product, Roundup™, has a much more toxic effect on the body than Glyphosphate alone. This is because it contains other chemicals that act to enhance its toxicity.
I'll cut to the chase- Children with autism have biomarkers indicative of excessive glyphosate, including zinc and iron deficiency, low serum sulfate, mitochondrial disorders, and sometimes seizures.
On the note of genetically modified foods if I was to go into detail about the possible issues with GM and health, it would take me an entire article itself. SO to keep it relevant to this discussion, I will say that the grains I have talked about here have, in most part, been genetically modified to resist Glyphosphate use in English, this means that growers can spray far more Roundup on their crops to kill competing weeds, and the crops will not die with those weeds. For us as the consumer, this means that the residual levels of glyphosate in the crop food then rise and voila! The accumulative effect increases!
With respect to other environmental chemicals, there is much research suggesting that children who live in homes with vinyl floors, which can emit phthalate chemicals, are more likely to have autism, as are those who might be exposed to occupational chemicals from mum or dad's work, or even fumes from dad's garage!
Research now acknowledges that environmental contaminants such as PCBs, PBDEs, and mercury can alter brain neuron functioning even before a child is born!!
All of the above can be quantifiably tested in a human, thanks to the wonderful work done by the Functional Pathology labs around the world.
At the end of the day, however, it would be far more intelligent to do an overall 'detox' of your body and life, and remove as many artificial chemicals, processed foods, and products as you possibly can. Unfortunately, it is a sign of modern times, that these chemicals are well and truly established in our food chain and environment.
But by taking out what you can, and encouraging effective detoxification and a good, well-balanced diet, you are reducing that overall load and allowing the body to do what it has done efficiently for thousands and thousands of years!
The next article in this series addresses some of the common drugs that can inhibit our liver pathways, and looks at the research that is suggesting that these may in fact play more of a role in Autism and behavior than the actual vaccines!
