How to achieve your goals on record time

I used to think that it was a motivation that got you to achieve your goals...  That the sparks of excitement would power me through to achieving glorious things! I thought it was the motivation that kept you going when times got tough and motivation was that kick up the ass that you needed to get through.

But what happens when you lose motivation??

One of two things happen. The first option is that you fall into a heap, everything turns to shit & you end up back at square one, or worse, you end up further back than where you started. However these are the times and experiences that will be our building blocks for our successful future, lets get into that another time. Those who choose the second option, and it is a CONSCIOUS choice, not just chance or luck, are the ones who succeed.

You see what happens when the motivation wains a little for those people, is DISCIPLINE takes over! It doesn't matter how tired you feel, or how lazy you want to be (that also is a choice) YOU DO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE!!!!

It might be cooking dinner, rather than ordering in, it might mean getting off your butt & getting into the gym or going for a walk, saving that extra $50 rather than buying something you really don't need. It doesn't matter what it is that you need to do to succeed at your goal, when you are disciplined, you just do it!

No Bullshit excuses (& believe me, being a trainer I have heard them ALL & it astounds me how many people have been telling themselves the excuses for such a long time, they actually believe it!). So if you have been trying to motivate yourself over the past week, and try to make this year the year you finally achieve that goal, why not try to stop searching for motivation, rather make a conscious decision to become more disciplined.

It is NOT going to be an easy road, but I can GUARANTEE that it will be WORTH it in the end

Do You Want To Become More Disciplined??? It will take time, think about how long the excuses have been lingering around for!

  1. WHAT IS YOUR GOAL??
What do you want to achieve, both long-term & then break it down into smaller more achievable goals.
  2. WHAT IS GOING TO CHALLENGE YOU IN ACHIEVING YOUR GOAL??
Is it going to be the excuses that you have been holding onto? Is it you don't feel you have the knowledge?? Do you have the belief and confidence to KNOW you are going to achieve your goal??
  3. WHAT STEPS DO YOU NEED TO TAKE TO OVERCOME YOUR CHALLENGES AND ACHIEVE YOUR GOAL??
Make these small & achievable. The easier the better. Planning is the key to achieving this step
  4. DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET THERE!!!
Do NOT allow anything to get in your way. If you realize that the challenges are beginning to become excuses, do something about it.

Now You Know What You Need To Do... All You Need To Do Is Take That First Step & DO IT!!!
